TV One to Launch New Reality Show: R&B Divas

Face it…you can’t turn away from reality shows these days.  So here’s another to add to your long list of guilty pleasures.  Set to debut on Monday, August 20th, TVONE will be launching a new series entitled R&B Divas featuring  Faith Evans, Nicci Gilbert, Keke Wyatt, Monifah Carter, Syleena Johnson. The show promises to take us inside the lives of these familiar faces , as they work, play and struggle to get their lives and careers back on track.  We’ll be able to follow the ladies each week as they deal with everyday struggles that we all face.

 

With all that being said, we just hope it will be a departure from the kind of shows we’ve been dealing with lately.  Time will tell!

Eve to Make a Fashion Comeback?

How many of you remember Eve’s fashion line, “Fetish”?  Well for those of you who were faithful Fetish fans, stay tuned, because it’s very likely that the rapper/actress/fashion designer will be hitting stores with a new line in the very near future.  Eve recently performed at the 2012 Essence Music Festival in New Orleans and revealed that her love of fashion lives on!  According to a recent interview, with the Huffington Post, Eve talks about her definite plans to re-emerge in the fashion world, but this time, expect to see more shoes than clothes.  Eve reveals “[The new line]  won’t be based on the clothes, it will be based on the shoes. I’m sure I’ll bring in some jewelry and handbags at some point. I love accessories!”  But fans will have to wait a little while longer, because the rapper also notes that we won’t see her new fashion line until after she drops some new music on us.  Well, we’re patiently waiting for both!
