Reginae Carter is HAIRFINITY® Jr.’s Brand Ambassador

Carter, who is the youngest ambassador to endorse the company, is also  a published author and aspiring singer who explained, “I’m so excited to now be able to share HairFinity with girls my age, who don’t always know where to turn when looking for the right hair care and treatments for damaged hair.”

The 15-year-old will host media tours, appear in webisodes and interact with fans through social media to help raise awareness of the supplement which touts healthy hair growth.

Brandy’s New Look: We Are Loving This New ‘do!

Brandy Norwood recently debuted her newBrandy-Afro-1 look  by posting some pics of her “so fresh” and “so big” hair on Instagram.    The singer and actress, who currently plays Chardonnay on BET’s  “The Game”, playfully posed for pics wearing her latest accessory: a big ‘ol afro!  We love it and think that the new look really works for her.

K. Michelle’s Web Series Has Launched. Watch Episode 1 here!

In the first installment of her new “Day In The Life” series, K, Michelle takes us with her on her journey to New York City. We see her preparing for her new album during meetings with her label, Atlantic Records, and her management company, MBK Entertainment. We also get a sneak peek of K. Michelle in the studio. She shows us her personal side when interacting with one of her fans on a phone call.

 When asked about why she chose to name her project “Rebellious Soul”, K. gives us a heartfelt answer. “It’s just me. I rebel. I’m a firecracker, I do what I want to do. My music is like that as well,” she says. “I rebel against things society tries to use to keep us in a box. Rebel against racism, rebel against judgement. Anything that makes you feel inferior as a woman.”

Unconventional Tips for Dealing with Dandruff

You may think that you have heard it all when it comes to dealing with dandruff.  Perhaps you have, but we guarantee that there may be some unconventional tips on this list that you haven’t heard about, but may be eager to try.  If you’re dealing with those unwanted, pesky flakes, then give some of these tips a try.

  • Try Vitamin E capsules or Vitamin E oil and rub directly into your scalp.  A tried and true way of dealing with an excessively dry scalp.
  • Aloe Vera gel applied all over your head goes to immediately when fighting flakes.  Let it set for about 10 mins, shampoo and rinse.
  • Mash 30 aspirin tablets.  Add to any bottle of shampoo.  No need to refrigerate.
